Perkins recently updated our entire printer and MFP fleet to Savin products provided by ABE. As part of the equipment update we implemented MFP security with the installation of card reading devices on all of our multi-function devices. The MFD’s were also equipped with solutions such as Nuance Auto Store and Document Manager. The final piece of the upgrade included the installation of a Right Fax Server which allowed us to become HIPAA compliant, track usage and have the ability for following me printing enabling us to send print jobs to any MFD on campus to be retrieved by authentication at that device.
